I’ve had my eye on these pants for a few weeks now, but was holding out for Loft to have a % off event which, as luck would have it, occurred this weekend with the 30% off fall styles and double $25 off $50 card event!   Just a little tip from Style Tutor to you, if you see something at Loft for full price just wait for it seems the retailer offers 30-50% off full price styles at least once a month these days.  Good news for your wallet and your closet!

Clearly, I cannot get enough of printed pants.  This is the fourth pair I have purchased this summer (all at a major discount, of course).  I’ve been careful, though, to buy prints and colors that transcend all seasons with a quick color change on top or with a different shoe.

Another thing I cannot get enough of are Peter Pan collars.  A great collar adds just the right amount of whimsy and femininity to a look and makes accessorizing a piece of cake as it eliminates the need to try to determine which necklace to don on those hectic work day mornings.  As a mom with a young son who still likes to grab at my accessories, a quirky collar also helps me feel a little more put together without having to worry about mourning the loss of a great statement necklace at the hands of a grabby two-year-old!

I am totally into the 60s mod vibe of this look and am certain this will become a fall uniform for me.  It’s a super comfortable, chic look that works for outings as a mom, shopping with friends, lecturing young minds on the finer points of Shakespeare, and a coffee and bookstore date with my husband!
