I love Emerson Fry. While her beautifully constructed clothes, with their clean lines and ’60s mod aesthetic, are well out of range of my usual budget, that doesn’t stop me from obsessing over each season’s new line. So when I received an email earlier this week promoting her fall collection, I immediately began to drool over the featured leopard-print coat. That coat was the inspiration for this week’s finds, which are black and white (and a little yellow and gray) all over. And even though I can’t afford that coat now, it won’t stop me from frequently visiting the site in the hopes that it will go on sale. I had luck once before with my favorite Emerson Fry tuxedo jacket, another black and white (well, more like cream) piece. I coveted it for nearly a year and finally snatched it up on sale. I’ll remain optimistic that one day that coat — and, I hope, those gray pants with yellow piping — will find a home in my closet!
