Wardrobe Essentials: A Comfortable Dress

0 Comments 29 August 2012

My personal style definitely tends towards more feminine pieces; nine times out of ten I will choose a dress or skirt over a pair of pants or jeans.  I picked up this dress (at an extra 50% off) earlier this summer when we hosted a shopping event at Madewell and I have worn it at least once a week since as it is the most comfortable dress I own.

It’s a perfect summer dress as the material is light and airy and the shape is not so fitted as to cling annoyingly on hot, humid summer days but isn’t so loose that I end up looking like I’m wearing a tent. The print, which transcends seasons, is another reason this dress is a great wardrobe addition.

The comfort, fit, and fun print make this a go-to dress for multiple occasions in my life.  I can easily wear this dress to work, to run errands, to take the kids on play dates, to meet my friends for coffee, or to go to dinner and a movie with my husband.

This dress comes in a variety of prints, so my “Do Your Wardrobe a Favor” advice is to find a print you like and make the purchase.  You can’t go wrong with a dress that fits so well, is amazingly comfortable, and fits so many areas of your life.
